About Packed for Paradise

The vast majority of weddings we delivered were legally valid. We also worked with couples of different nationalities, getting married abroad across the Mediterranean and in long-haul destinations.

That meant understanding not only venues, hotels and ceremonies, but also documents, deadlines, authorities, certified translations and logistics — and having procedures ready for situations where something unexpected required a fast response.

For us, it was a working day. For each couple, it was one of the most important days of their lives. That difference taught us to take responsibility very personally.

Work this complex could not be delivered without clear processes and teams who knew what had to happen and when.

Over the years, we built checkpoints, legal and operational know-how and a network of partners that allowed us to manage many weddings at the same time, anywhere in the world — while still seeing the individual couple, their circumstances and their priorities.

The most valuable lesson, however, was understanding how couples actually make decisions: what they imagine at the beginning, what they worry about, where information becomes confusing, what they eventually choose and what only becomes important once things start happening for real.

That experience is still part of what Packed for Paradise is built on today.

Today, we are no longer a travel agency. Packed for Paradise was not created to start selling wedding packages or organising destination weddings again.

What we do want to carry forward is the most valuable part: the experience and knowledge that can help turn an idea into a realistic, well-considered plan.

Working with weddings naturally brought us into other moments that matter deeply to couples — honeymoons, anniversaries, vow renewals and simply spending meaningful time together.

The same kinds of questions come up there too: what should we choose, what should we think about, what genuinely suits us and what will actually work in practice?

We therefore combine our own experience with real stories from other couples.

At Packed for Paradise, we want to help couples planning a major occasion — or simply time together — answer practical questions and see the wider context.

We are not here to declare one universal winner. Good advice does not begin with “this is the best”. It begins with a question: “What matters to you?”

We do not want Packed for Paradise to rely only on what we already know.

Our community continually brings us new questions, ideas and inspiration. We follow what couples are dealing with now, what is changing in destinations, and we stay in close contact with partners on the ground — hotels, wedding coordinators, photographers, local suppliers and other people working there every day.

We verify new information, keep it up to date and connect it with what we already know.

Packed for Paradise is therefore not simply a memory of what worked in the past. It is a living source of information for decisions you are making right now.
